2010-2011 NAMI-CS Board of Directors
Kathy Brandt, President: BA in English, MA in Rhetoric from the University of Colorado. Kathy is the author of four novels in the Hannah Sampson mystery series. She and her son, Max, have just completed work on a memoir about bipolar disorder. Before becoming a full-time writer, Kathy taught writing at the University of Colorado for ten years and free-lanced for various publications.
Sharon Signorelli, Vice President: BS in Home Economics Education from Kansas State University. Sharon was a transcriber/copy editor at Shepherd’s Citations, an elementary school librarian, and a junior high teacher. She has volunteered in schools, church, and quilt guild.
Cheryl Stine, Secretary: MA in Counseling and Human Services from University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. Cheryl is a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, and Colorado Certified Addictions Counselor, CAC III. She has been a mental health counselor, supervisor and program manager at Pikes Peak Mental Health since 1997. She is a member of the Regional Advisory Council to the Area Agency on Aging and a member of ARCH Advisory Council.
Mike Davis, Treasurer:: BEE, MSEE. Mike was in electrical engineering and management at Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies and is currently a Principal with Techzecs, LLC. He volunteers with Marian House Soup Kitchen, and was on the boards of United Way CS and Pikes Peak Chapter – Veteran Motorcar Club of America.
Terri Anderson: Director of Operations at Silver Key Senior Services, Terri has trained nationally in the areas of family violence, collaboration, and coordinated community response and is currently involved in a Department of Justice-funded project to train law enforcement, district attorneys and judiciary on practices for successful prosecution of elder abuse and exploitation cases.
Victoria Dzwons: BS, MA. Victoria is the NAMI librarian, a teacher, job counselor at ESM, and volunteers at church and the soup kitchen.
Jim Horvat: BA. Jim is a consumer advocate with Colorado Health Network, on the board of Haven House, and NAMI-CS. He is the NAMI Connection support group facilitator.
Joe Michaels: Bachelors in marketing and communications from Eastern Michigan University, and a master’s in business administration from Wayne State University.
Joe is vice president of marketing and communications for Pikes Peak Behavioral Health Group. He has 25 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, branding, fundraising, and constituent relations/engagement.










NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with serious mental illness and their families. Founded in 1979, NAMI has become the nation’s voice on mental illness, a national organization including NAMI organizations in every state and in over 1100 local communities across the country who join together to meet the NAMI mission through advocacy, research, support, and education.
