Teleconference Support Group Service
NAMI-CS will be piloting a teleconference Family-to-Family support group on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings of each month. The goal of the pilot is to offer another channel for family members to get family-to-family support. The advantages of the teleconference support group are convenience, low cost, and making it easier for folks in communities not in close proximity to a physical NAMI support group location to attend meetings.

The pilot teleconference support group will limit the number of participants to 10 family members on a first come first serve basis. Pre-registration for each support group meeting will be required by emailing hello@davidlease.com or calling 719-472-4511. After each participant agrees to the terms and conditions of the teleconference support group, they will receive a phone number with a unique extension code. The scheduled teleconference support groups will be held on

March 9 (pre-register by Mar. 8),
March 23 (pre-register by Mar. 22),
April 13 (pre-register by April 12) and
April 27 (pre-register by April 26) from 7 PM to 8:30 PM.

Prior to each group meeting, registered participants will be able to email any questions or topics they would like to discuss so the facilitator can be prepared with resources. After each session, we will mail a survey to participants asking for their feedback and suggestions on how to improve the experience. If the pilot is a success, we will continue to schedule teleconference support groups and automate the registration process.
