About the group
For centuries, people have celebrated the healing power of horses. So NAMI Colorado Springs is thrilled to partner with StableStrides on a monthly wellness group at the Norris-Penrose Event Center.
At Be Herd Wellness Group meetings, people living with mental health conditions can find support and community with both peers and some of StableStrides’ horses. While this is not a Connection Support Group, it is conceived and organized in that spirit — with peer facilitators helping participants connect and share experiences.
Closed-toed shoes are required, and participants should be ready to spend time outside.
