Specific to the November 2022 Club Q shooting: Our hearts break for the victims of this senseless attack, and for their loved ones. All people in our community have the right to feel safe, and we at NAMI plan to be part of building a safer future for those in the LGBTQIA2+ community. Military community
In November 2021, NAMI national released "NAMI Homefront Mental Health Resources for Military Service Members, Veterans and Their Families," a free online suite of resources designed to increase understanding, communication, wellness and advocacy skills. Registration is necessary so that (1) each user has a personal login and (2) NAMI can report on the number of people using the resource, which is a requirement of some funders. NAMI will not collect and share personal information or report participants accessing the material.
